Orderly Payment of Debts Program - Self Assessment

Here is a quick exercise to help you narrow down which option might be right for you.

The OPD program can last for 4 years at a 5% interest rate and includes only unsecured debt. We have a special formula to figure out roughly what your monthly payments might be.  Then all you have to do is think about whether or not the rough monthly payment will fit into your spending plan.

Use the calculator below to enter your total unsecured debt.  Keep in mind that unsecured debts are debts that do not have something put up as security or collateral.  Some other examples are credit cards, taxes, utility bills, and medical bills.

The calculator will take your total unsecured debt and divide it by 42 (4 years at 5% interest)

Enter your total unsecured debt: $ (do not enter commas, i.e. 53400)

Your minimum payment while on the OPD program is: $

*Note: administrative fees will apply
