Good news! Financial education in post secondary settings
We facilitated a seminar today for a group of teachers, and one of them commented that we should be teaching money management in schools. (..a frequent comment!). We are delighted to let you know that some post-secondary settings are offering financial education opportunities for their students this fall.
- SAIT students can attend a free seminar, courtesy of their Student Association. “Survival Guide: Post Secondary Students and Money” will be on Sept 30. - U of C students are invited to register for the same course Sept 27 – and we will be at the U of C orientation Sept 2 – 4. – In
Edmonton, “Survival Guide: Post Secondary Students and Money” will be held at the Downtown Public Library on Sat, Sept 27. – For DeVry students, Money Mentors is now routinely facilitating two seminars as part of the student curriculum.
For all of you who have told us so often that this should be offered in schools, we just wanted to share this good news!
